Make it stand out.
Poly Tech Flooring is the trusted choice for flooring solutions.
Why you need it.
Defend
Polished Concrete, Epoxy, Urethane, and Polyaspartic floor systems serve as an exceptional protective solution for concrete surfaces. They form a tough, impermeable layer over concrete, effectively shielding it from various forms of damage such as abrasions, impacts, stains, chemical spills, and moisture penetration.
Enhance
This protective barrier enhances durability, longevity, structural integrity, environment resistance, slip resistance, ease of maintenance, and aesthetics.
Aesthetics
Epoxy coatings are highly versatile, offering a customizable finish that can be adapted to different styles and functional needs, all while providing an easy-to-clean surface that requires minimal maintenance.
Start with style.
Flake it.
A custom mixture of quarter inch sized polymer flakes, and a two coat epoxy-polyaspartic hybrid system with a clear UV stable topcoat.
Speck it.
A custom blend of 1/16 inch sized polymer specks, gives you a natural look and includes a two coat epoxy-polyaspartic hybrid system with a clear UV stable topcoat.
Color it.
A two or three coat solid color system with an epoxy-polyaspartic hybrid build. This system gives you a custom color and a smooth finish, with optional texture.
Polish it.
Polished concrete is process of refining and treating concrete surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy, and durable finish.
Grind & Level it.
Maybe you aren’t looking for a decorative coating finish. Maybe you just need your concrete ground and leveled to prepare for a different type of floor. We do that too!
Seal It.
Sealed concrete is a process of cleaning, densifying, and sealing concrete floors to harden, dustproof and seal them. Sealed concrete can be upgraded to low-mid levels of concrete polish.
Common Application Areas
Our Process.
Grind it.
Grinding the concrete stands as a crucial step for ensuring the durability of your coating system. Our process hinges on a meticulously prepared floor. This grinding process not only improves but also fortifies the bond between the base coat and your concrete base. Its significance cannot be overstated, as omitting grinding compromises the longevity of your floor.
Profile it.
Each coating product necessitates specific Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) prerequisites. These requirements outline the preparation standards for concrete before applying the coatings. Our expertise lies in mastering the grinding procedure, ensuring that our concrete surface profile consistently meets these stringent standards set by manufacturers.
Scrape it.
Prior to sealing, our goal is to ensure your floor is impeccably smooth and free from any sharp or loose flake particles. We dedicate ample time to meticulously scrape and sand off any excess flakes and specks from the surface, meticulously detailing the edges and stem walls, clearing out the joints, and thoroughly vacuuming the entire area. This meticulous process is carried out with precision to achieve a flawlessly clean surface before applying the seal.
Seal it.
The hard work leading up to this stage in the process becomes meaningless without a well-executed clear polyaspartic top coat to seal the floor. Our expert application ensures precision, firmly adhering the sealant to the polymer flakes or specks, enveloping them entirely. This polyaspartic top coat delivers a sleek, shiny finish while granting abrasion and chemical resistance, making cleaning and maintenance effortless.
Detail it.
Bull Nose.
We take time to clean, coat, flake, and detail these areas, increasing aesthetics of your space.
Joints.
Joints are essential in every concrete surface to mitigate stress fractures caused by concrete movement. We offer two options: filling them with a flexible polyurea or meticulously cleaning and detailing the edges to ensure crisp, clean lines.
Stem Walls.
A stem wall refers to the visible foundation of a home or building, typically rising above the concrete surface and connecting with the walls. We allocate time to properly prepare, coat, and meticulously detail these areas.
Curbs.
Your patio commonly adjoins other elements such as concrete, rocks, bark, grass, or other landscaping materials. We relocate these materials from your concrete curb and extend the coating beneath the regular visible edge.
Edges.
You may have stonework, drywall, metal, wood, or other vertical finishing elements that sit just slightly above your concrete surface. We meticulously detail beneath these edges to ensure a clean finish.
Fine Lines.
We ensure that our product stays within the designated area, guaranteeing clean edges and precise lines where the coating concludes.
